I believe this is a flowering plant I looked for to grow as a native plant many years ago....it looks like what's called a "Wine cup" or "Poppy mallow." Look under Callirhoe Involucta. Such a pretty perspective on this floral Alexander... with great contrasting colors too! V/fav/ :) Pamela
